TANK TWO

Tank Two was sleeping really soundly when we took all the other photos, so I waited a day, and took him out by himself.  He was very adaptable to his new surroundings, and took off on his own exploration.  And then he discovered me!  Even though we had chatted every day since his birth, he was too busy being a tank to notice me very much.  But on this day, we looked into each other's eyes, and it was like he said, "Oh, there's a HUMAN!  I LIKE HUMANS!"  And he's been my best buddy ever since that moment.

Tank Two was born at 9:05 AM and weighed 13.1 ounces at birth, just a tad under Tank One  But some of the others caught up with Tank One, and Tank Two continues to be the very biggest puppy in the pack.

Tank Two has a white triangle where his ruff should be.  That may become overshadowed as the rest of his front chest hair grows out, or it may just stay as a curious white patch. He also has a little tiny white blaze on his nose, that skips the stop and goes onto his forehead. He has a fantastic amount of gold on his face, a little on his chest, and lots on his hind legs.

Tank Two is a very self confident little boy.  Because of his size, and because he's an Aussie, this pup needs an Aussie-experienced home or a new owner committed to obedience classes.  This is a strong, solid puppy.

The Tanks got their name because when the litter was tiny, they would work their way up and down Ginger's belly, pushing the other pups off the teats, so they could get more.  As everyone grew, I would sometimes detain Tanks One and Two, just for a minute, as the others gloomed onto Ginger.
