TANK ONE

This little boy was born at 7:45, the fourth in the litter. He weighed in at a whopping 14.6 ounces, and is still the biggest puppy in the pack.
He is going to be a beautiful medium red, with lots of gold on his face, cheeks and legs. The back legs have very little white, just the toes, and one leg is gold to the toes. The left front leg has a white sock, and then the gold.
The coat color will darken as he grows. You can already see the next coat coming in, down the middle of his back. It is darker. I think he will have the same dense outer coat and tight feet, just like his parents.
I think the eyes will be amber, but they might go to blue.
He has a big broad male Aussie head, and the ears hang just right for this family. His ancestor, Champion Copper Canyon Caligeri, as pictured in Harnagle's book, had a big broad head like this one.
Tank One is a very energetic, but sweet youngster. He is not at all timid, and is usually one of the first, along with Tank Two, to investigate anything new I put into their pen.
This boy is going to make some family very happy!
