WHO is BluFrogg Gardens?
BluFrogg Gardens has been a family farm for over 30 years.
Over the years, we’ve raised rabbits, chickens, goats, and sheep. We have planted fruit trees, wine grapes, bay trees, and eucalyptus. Always, there is a garden.
Some items, like heirloom tomato seedlings and dry gourds, were raised mostly for sale, usually at Farmers’ Markets, but sometimes right from our fields or greenhouses.
Always, the children were involved.
Now that those children are grown, we are educating the grandchildren to this lifestyle.
They helped to renovate the shed that became the new rabbitry. They planted gourd and pumpkin seeds. They made a business model to sell those items. Every year, they get more deeply involved.
Eventually, we hope to just sit on the porch in our rocking chairs, and watch the farm whirl around us.
